針對國民黨有意拋出選後由國會「多數黨組閣」，民進黨總統候選人蔡英文7日表示，按《中華民國憲法》規定，閣揆的任命是總統的權力，是不可私相授受的事情，且制度上若任意轉換，對憲政體制不好，相信這種說法只是拿來做選舉和政治操作。
